Director R K Selvamani is a happy man. His Kutra Pathirigai, which was lying in the cans for a long time, is all set for a release. With Madras High Court clearing all hurdles for the movie's release, he is busy giving final touches to the movie for an early release.

Meanwhile, the director is also happy, for, his Pulan Visaranai II is also shaping up well. Plans are on to shoot important sequences of 'Pulan Visaaranai II' at islands in Maldives.

The movie, being produced by Ibrahim Rowther, was initially shot in Chennai. Now the crew would move to Maldives and Andaman group of islands for their next schedule.

Dwelling more on Kutra Pathirigai, Selvamani said, ''It is a movie which is based on former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's assassination. We have not expressed any sympathy to any group. But I have tried to picture events in a realistic manner''.
