'Lakshmi' Kannada film by Bharani Minerals the first launch of the banner releasing as second film after `Ko Ko Koli Kothi' is a two years project made with lot of care.

`Lakshmi' is another film for setting nation free from terrorism. The questioning the film does is appropriate to the detractors of this country. The strong base for this film is excellent screenplay loaded with action and surprises that keeps the audience tight on their seats.

Among the many valuable points tucked in this film the husband and wife waging a battle to protect the nation is impeccable. Till the last few reels the suspicion keeps very tight. The dashing and swash buckling stunts using the technology of computer graphics the team of `Lakshmi' lived the present need of Indian cinema from this Kannada cinema.

The laxities in this film are very few and they are negligible in the commercial films. But the length could have been pruned. There are a few scenes that are dragging.

Lakshmi.no one can touch me as the slogan (Shivarajakumar) is very clever in tracing the links of terrorist gangs operating in the country. His discoveries are dashing and intelligent that not only shocks the characters in the film but also the audience watching it.

When the `Specialist' (Gurudut) is killed by Lakshmi he finds to his dismay his wife is in Hong Kong. For tracing his wife Priya (Priyamani) he travels to Hong Kong the hub of terrorist activities. In the gang of Ashish Vidyarthi the main pillar who is out to destroy all the major state capitals of India - Priya is working. Priya is in the name of Reshma learning all about the moves of terrorists joined the team and also earns the close affinity from her brain power in a Casino incident.

The search of Lakshmi in the capacity of CBI officer lands him in the most dangerous den of Ashish Vidyarthi. This is where Lakshmi finds Priya. At this situation Ashish Vidyarthi knows who exactly is Reshma.

The couple with couple of dangers uses the clever brain. Lakshmi for deactivating the blasts planned sets the family members of Ashish Vidyarthi free but never stops in putting an end to the terrorist head.

In his second film with Shivarajakumar and music director Gurukiran director Raghav Loki has used full common sense in giving a power packed cinema `Lakshmi'.

For the age and stage of Shivarajakumar this is a fabulous role and he has added the required `Power' to the role. Dancing moment, action, sentiments and lively moments are delectable from Shivarajakumar.

Priyamani is her best commercial film. As a wife and also as a stunner in songs plus the suspense filled role Priyamani made it look very easy for her.

Avinash is agile again in his role. Ashish Vidyarthi looks very comfortable this time. Saloni in her small role is appealing. Ravi Kaale and Rangayana Raghu are quite OK.

Come Come Kamanna..is the fast number of this film. Neenene Neene..is melody best, kicking one is Naanu Motu Beedi Sedthidde... Gurukiran is the real `guru' of music.

KS Chandrasekhar is flawless. He has enjoyed in his work it seems in capturing exotic locations of exterior and interiors. The graphics for this film very nicely jell with the flow of the film.

This is worth watching by every Indian.

Score - 7/10
