Lakshmi Manchu to do an item song in Kadal

Mani Ratnam's next is slowly beginning to come up with news for a media. The project which has been pretty silent about its development has Gautham Karthik and Thulasi Nair in the lead. Sources have now revealed that Lakshmi Manchu will be doing an item number in the film.

Kadal has music by A.R.Rahman and one of the songs, 'Nenjukulley' has been released to the internet. Now, an item number has made thing more interesting. Lakshmi Manchu who is currently working on her film Marenthen Mannithen is joined by Arvindsamy, Arjun in supporting roles. The actress is said to play a village belle portraying a dark role. We can look forward to listening to ARR's foot-tapping number once the audio is launched.
