Actress Lakshmi Menon who is being considered as a lucky heroine in Tamil industry has said in an interview to a leading Tamil Newspaper that she hates the ‘lucky girl’ tag and says she never believes in a concept called luck. She has stated that if her films have been successful it is because of various factors like good script. talented directors, heroes with fan following and powerful roles offered to her.

Speaking about her roles in her upcoming films the Kumki actress said she plays a Chennai based doctor ‘Karthika’ in Vemal starrer Manjapai and her character in the film will be the perfect reflection of a Chennai girl. In Jigarthanada she plays ‘Kannamma’ a Madurai based girl. In her film with Gautham Karthik titled as Sipppai Lakshmi Menon acts as ‘Thenthamizh.’ In this character she has acted as a rebellious girl who makes it a point to speak in pure Tamil without mixing a single English word.
