Choreographer-actor-filmmaker Raghava Larencce’s answer was a big no when he was asked by the producer of ‘Pensingam’, a movie which has script by Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, to receive remuneration for his guest appearance.

“The Chief Minister was so helpful in curing the heart disease of 35 children staying at my home. And it is a gift to dance for a song in a film that has Kalaignar’s script. So I denied any remuneration for shaking legs for a special number,” he says.

Larencce however adds the producers J Nandini Arts were however 'kind enough' to donate a sum to the home run by him, since he refused to receive the salary. "That was no doubt a noble deed," he adds.

On his forthcoming projects, he says, "I’m currently directing ‘Kaanchana’, a sequel to my previous venture, ‘Muni’. Anushka is playing the lead. I am also there in ‘Pakki’, a film directed by Rasu Madhuravan of ‘Mayandi Kudumbathar’ fame. I am also doing a film with Nagarjuna and Prabhas in Telugu."
