Lathe Hegde to strike, an NRI before camera

A sweet looking Latha Hegde makes debut in a Kannada film in Mahesh Babu directorial venture and before completion of this project this nonresident Indian accepted Utsav` a film starring Diganth. Latha Hegde is a double graduate in Marketing and Human Resources Management from University of Auckland. Her first stint was in Telugu film Tuntari` a remake of Maan Karate` Tamil film. Latha played the role of an innocent young girl falling in love with a sportsman.

With origins of Honnavara near Sirsi, Latha Hegde settled down in New Zealand (Auckland) at the age of six years as her parents reached abroad on professional compulsion. This Kannada girl never lost touch of the language. First she was spotted by Mahesh Babu of many successful films like Akash, Arasu, Crazy Boy etc. The heroines Mahesh Babu introduced Aindrita Ray in Meravanige, Kriti Karbanda in Chiru`, Ashika in Crazy Boy` have clicked tremendously in the box office and found a good ground in the cinema industry.

After two days Latha Hegde accepted the first Kannada film, she got offers in utsav` with Diganth and for Kushboo Productions happens to be her first Tamil project.
