Vivek is busy with his Solli Adippen, which marks his debut as hero in Kollywood.

Though the film has seen many hurdles and delay, Vivek still feels that he will have the last laugh.

But hero or no hero, Vivek says his priority is to make people laugh. "There are wild rumors that I will quit playing comedy roles once Solli Adippen is released.

I wonder who spread these baseless reports about me. As long as people love me playing comedy roles, I will continue to do so. If Solli Adippen clicks, I would perhaps do one movie every year as a hero".

Solli Adippen should have been completed by this time.

"Unfortunately I was hurt while shooting a stunt sequence. I slipped and fell from the motorbike. I had to take a couple of months rest and commence the shooting, Vivek explains.

"After a brief interval, I came back with Thaka Dhimi Tha and Kanaa Kanden. People have been appreciating my performance in both the movies.

Once Anniyan is out, I will prove everyone of my worth, says a confident Vivek.

Asked about his rapport with fellow comedy artistes, Vivek says "I share a excellent rapport with everyone and especially Vadivelu is a good friend of mine".

Well, does that clear all your doubts?
