Who says SS Rajamouli is the master? Not Ramadevi, his wife, who feels that her hubby should work under the tutelage of Puri Jagannadh to learn how to make a film in a short span. The world would not have known this, but for Rajamouli's own submission at the audio launch of The Businessman. He said, "Whenever Puri delivers a hit, my wife gives me a lecture. She would ask me to go and learn the art of film making from him. I will buddy up with him for at least two days."

There is no denying the fact that Rajamouli's success rate is unmatched, while Puri Jagannadh, who has made more number of films than the former, has had many flops in his career. However, what makes Puri special is that he is immensely capable of making films in a jiffy - well, almost. That too, he writes the story, screenplay and dialogues all himself! Which is not an easy feat.

Puri doesn't tire of going to the floors in two shakes of a lamb's tail. It is difficult to see him not working on a story at every time. On the other hand, Rajamouli works at his own pace. What makes the Magadheera maker a non pareil is his perfectionism. Many feel that the quality of Rajamouli's films (be it when measure on their novelty or scale) is any day better Puri's films.

That said, one cannot and should not compare apples and oranges. Both the directors have their distinction. Puri is a non-stop entertainer, because we are never bored of, say, the dialogues in his films.
