The latest buzz doing rounds in Kollywood is that actor Silambarasan has chosen to axe VJ turned actress Lekha Washington from 'Kettavan'.

Lekha, a popular VJ in a music channel was chosen to play the female lead to Simbhu in 'Kettavan'. Shooting for the movie also commenced recently. Rumors are agog that Simbhu has chosen to drop Lekha from the movie for he was not satisfied with her performance.

The actor has reportedly urged Asin, who is playing the lead roles in 'Dasavatharam' and 'Vel', to be part of the movie now. Lekha was playing a Brahmin girl in the movie.

However Asin has not confirmed her dates for the movie.
