From 'Anandam' to 'Paiyaa', almost all the films of Lingusamy were a good mix of commercial ingredients, that serve to the entertainment appetite all sections of the audience. No wonder he has got fans from different age groups.

In his 10th year in Kollywood, Lingusamy is coming out with 'Vettai', which, he says, is his best film ever. With four leading stars- Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul- playing lead roles, it is going to be fireworks on screen this Pongal, one has to say. The film will be released by UTV Motion Pictures and saw a grand audio launch yesterday.

Besides a director, Lingusamy is a producer too. By joining hands with his brother Subash Chandra Bose, the brothers' production house Tirupathi Brothers is doing very well catering a variety of movies to the masses, just like the 'Thirupathi Maligai' in Lingusamy's maiden film 'Anandam'.
