A group of pilgrims travelling to UP tweeted a photo of Lizard found in the Biryani they ordered. After one of the passengers fell ill and authorities did not give attention, a man tweeted the image tagging Railway minister Suresh Prabhu.
The issue comes in at a time when the recent external audit came in last week with reports suggesting Railway food unhealthy for consumption. As the trained moved in to the next station, senior authorities were present with medicines for the ill and to take strong action on the food being served.
