The Vijay-Murugdoss project may be shot in Kolkata. This information arises out of Cinematographer George C.Williams currently being in the capital of West Bengal.

It is worth recalling that Director A.R.Murugdoss showcased a different of shade of Mumbai when he teamed up with Vijay to give a super hit in Thuppakki, that released in 2012. Now the duo have apparently planned to shoot the film in another Metro city in India and zeroed in on Kolkata. Though there is no official confirmation on this, sources close to the film say that the makor chunk of the film will be shot in Kolkata.

Samantha is expected to pair up with Vijay for the first time and young sensation Anirudh has been entrusted with the Music department.
