Laila escaped a mishap while shooting for her forthcoming movie Kanda Naal Muthal at Irumbuliyur, a Chennai suburb.

While the director Priya was busy taking a scene involving actress Laila and Prasanna, a small crowd had gathered to watch the shooting.

When the shot commenced, all of a sudden, a lorry barged into the shooting spot, stunning everybody. That lorry was going on the Highways Road. Luckily nobody was hurt including Laila. A few shooting equipment were broken. Police came to the spot immediately and filed a complaint and further investigations are on.
