Another debutant director Dr Soori has erred with no tight script and screenplay. The concept of pleasing-realizing-forgiving is the age old concept in Indian cinema. In addition to it the inexcusable is the simple transformation not identified by the female protagonist looks so inept handling of the director. Of course this Soori is not Dhuniya, Jackie Soori but a newcomer who has a profession of medicine.
The simple thread of actress Ramya and her admiration to a dog is picked for the story by Ghouse Peer. He has added the hero struggle to convince his lover and there is nothing else in the film.
How come a top actress like Ramya accepted this kind of inconsequential subjects? She has no scope at all for acting. Yash as the dancing hero 'Rock'ing star has offers only the dance and looks good at places. It is a futile exercise difficult to sit through.
Lucky alias Vikram (Yash) objective is to fall in love with Gowri (Ramya). He makes lot of circus to convince her and till then his qualification is kept as secret. When the room mate of Lucky vacates it becomes obvious for him to support him and his friend 420 Anand (Sharan) to eke out a living. Lucky wants to attend an interview of an Ad Company. He comes to know that Gowri is working in the same company where he supposed to attend the interview. He is advised by the gate keeper to come trim with a new look. Lucky decides that his new avatar should not be recognized by Gowri. He changes his eye ball, cuts hair, wears specks and shaves off the beard. He becomes like a just finished graduate. In the Advertisement Company he gets a job and shocked is Gowri. She is sure that Lucky is this Vikram. In a series of follow ups Vikram spoils all the proof that he is Lucky. When he proposes for Gowri she gives him a shock and says she is in love with Lucky. Now Vikram has to become Lucky his original avatar. That happens in the climax as everyone expected.
There is Zuzu (a Pug) in the film and it is in the company of Gowri always in the film. Even in the climax first night scene.
Ramya looks very beautiful in Saree and she has nothing special to perform in this film. Yash is good in dance. Sharan and Sadhu Kokila are monotonous.
The two pillars of this film are music director Arjun Janya and cameraman S Krishna. Three songs Hoovina Santhege...Mandyadindha...Naaenu Madli Swami Nan Hudgi Naayi Premi...are well composed. S Krishna state award winning cameraman has done a tidy work and his framing is absolutely perfect.
