With the D-day nearing, Suriya's much awaited 'Maattrraan' was on Wednesday cleared by the Censor Board with a clean U certificate, which means the film is fit for viewing for all age groups.

If sources are to be believed, Censor authorities also appreciated the hard work of the cast and crew of the film, especially that of Suriya who has played conjoined twins.

With the movie obtaining Censor clearence, it is now clear that 'Maattrraan' will hit the screens as scheduled on October 12. And grand arrangements are being planned for the release.

Produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram of AGS Entertainment, 'Maattrraan' is directed by K V Anand. Kajal Agarwal is the heroine, while music is by Harris Jayaraj.
