Maddy to put on for Srinivasa Ramanujam

Madhavan, the pan Indian actor who enjoys good audience in the South and in Bollywood is currently running from pillar to post for the promotional activities of ‘Vettai’.

The actor has now expressed that he will be adding on a few more extra pounds to get into the skin of the character, of Srinivasa Ramanujam, whose biography Maddy is working on. Srinivasa Ramanujam is a mathematical genius who made India proud and Madhavan will be reprising him in a biopic, which is said to be directed by Roger Spottiswoode of ‘Tomorrow Never Dies’ fame. The film is touted to be based on the life of Srinivasa Ramanujam and his relationship with G.H. Hardy, a Cambridge scholar.

It was earlier rumoured that Siddharth will be playing this role. It may be mentioned, apart from ‘Vettai’, Maddy also has a Hindi release, ‘Jodi Breakers’ with Bipasha Basu in the lead.
