Choosing a unique way seems to be lyricist Madhan Karky’s USP. When one follows the same career as their father, especially in the film industry, people expect similar style from the younger one. But Madhan Karky, son of legendary lyricist Vairamuthu, has set a unique style for himself in his career so far as a lyricist.

Madhan is incorporating foreign languages in Indian songs, thus setting about a whole new trend.

He has introduced a Portuguese track in bilingual flick ‘180’ that stars Siddharth, Priya Anand and Nithya Menon in the lead roles. Madhan expressed that before he wrote this song, he did not know a single word in Portuguese and he used web applications to translate his lines. Andre Lopez fixed the grammar and Ely has sung this song.

The young talent also told his tweet buddies that, it was hard to think about words in an alien language and even harder to find rhyming words. It is also said that the Portuguese singer Ely, fell in love with the song and its lyrics and found it in par with actual Portuguese songs!

While this is on one side, remember we had already told you that he has panned lyrics in Chinese for a track composed by Harris Jayaraj for forthcoming flick ‘7am Arivu.’ He also came up with a unique attempt by penning lyrics in about 16 languages for a track in Shankar’s ‘Nanban’!

Well looks like Madhan is leaving no stone unturned and we can expect many such trends in the film industry set by this young talent in the coming days…
