Madhavan and director Nishikant Kamat teamed up for Evano Oruvan, a remake of Marathi hit Dombivili Fast. The movie is almost complete and would hit the screens soon.

Meanwhile, Madhavan and Nishikant have agreed to do another Hindi movie. Buzz is that the movie is inspired by train blasts in Mumbai last year which claimed over 200 lives.

Madhavan says, “I am playing a prominent role in Mumbai Meri Jaan, a movie on Mumbai blasts. It is a joy that I am coming across serious roles. Hitherto I was considered a romantic hero in filmdom”.

Madhavan's Evano Oruvan features Sangeetha opposite him and has musical score by G V Prakashkumar.
