Actress Madhumitha was introduced by actor-director Parthiban in the Tamil film 'Kudaikul Mazhai'. Reports indicate that she has been engaged and will be entering wedlock soon. She would marry an upcoming actor and industrialist Siva Balaji. The two had acted together in 'Englishkaran', which was produced and directed by Sakthi Chidambaram.

Siva Balaji, earned a good name and shot to fame with the Telugu film 'Arya'. Madhumitha too is familiar in Telugu as she played sister to Arjun in 'Puttintiki Raa Chelli'.

According to sources, the two had fallen in love when the movie was being made. Coming to know of their affair, the elders of both families agreed to unite them. A grand engagement was held in Hyderabad on Thursday in which elders from both families attended.

Madhumitha had acted in several films in Tamil and Telugu. With the girl next-door looks, she has been making rapid strides in the industry.'

Siva Balaji said, 'Presently Madhu is busy with Tamil films. Once she completes all her projects, we will get married. Possibly the marriage would take place either in December or in January. We have not yet decided whether Madhu should continue in films or not.'
