The Rajamouli-directed Magadheera, which created a history in Box-Office collections in Telugu, will see its Tamil version release very soon.

After news came that some portions in the first half will be reshot with Tej and a Kollywood comedian, its materialization seemed all the more true.

The film has not even reached the 100-day mark in Telugu, but plans for a dubbed version have seen good progress in recent days. Though we have to wait and watch how the film will fare in Tamil Nadu, Ram Charan Tej must be having his fingers crossed over the project.

Made on a mammoth budget by Geetha Arts, the film helped Charan to catapult himself to starry orbit. It has been a long time since we last heard a Telugu hero eager to make a mark with a new audience, and Charan has to be appreciated for the audacity he is showing though the young actor is just two films old.

Discerning that Tamil audience are, Charan stands a good chance to be accepted there with this love story with histrocal backdrop, because action-based films are enjoying good currency there.

Moreover, the kind of lavishness and grandeur Magadheera boasts of is something no Tamil film has had in the past. The challenge the producers are certain to face is that of bringing nativity in script and screenplay.

If only the film gets acceptance in Tamil Nadu, the Hindi remake will get a great fillip. But the film is going to face competition from two big releases when it finally releases on Pongal day. One is Ajith-starrer Asal and a Vijay film.

One wishes Charan all success!
