'It's rare to come across movies with good storylines. When I heard the script of 'Maharaja', I immediately decided to be part of it' said actor Nasser.

Anitha, who acted opposite Vikram in Samurai, Karunaas, Saranya and many more feature in the cast. D. Imman is scoring the music while Manoharan looks after the story, screenplay, dialogues and direction.

Speaking after the muhurat of the film in Chennai on Wednesday, Nasser said, 'Manoharan narrated the story in a gripping manner. I am delighted to be part of the project. Though the industry is healthy today and lots of companies are foraying into film production, I'd like to stress that we should churn out quality entertainers. I am confident that this two and half hour movie would entertain the masses in a healthy way'.

Sathya, who made his debut in 'Valluvan Vasuki', is expecting the release of 'Arumugham', in which he has acted alongside Bharath. Sathya said, 'being part of a film with Nasser is a learning curve for me.'
