It has been quite a while since the film `Mallanna' has been on the marquee and not just for the time it has taken to get ready but also for the huge technical values and the various facets that it has embedded itself with.

The film is made under the banner of V Creations and it has the highly talented Vikram as the hero while the sizzling beauty Shriya is the leading lady. The movie also has superstar Krishna doing a key role and then there is Indrajit, Prabhu Ganesan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Vivek, Santhanam, Vadivelu and others in the supporting cast.

The film is directed by Susi Ganesan while the producer of this happens to be Kalaipuli S Thanu. The story and the screenplay are also looked after by Susi while the music has been composed by the highly talented Devisri Prasad.

The songs are major chartbusters and the cinematography has been taken care of by N K Ekambaram.

Interestingly, Vikram has not only sung songs in the movie but he is also seen in various get ups including that of a woman.

Vikram is said to be playing the role of a CBI officer and the story revolves around how he uses his intellect and brains to extract the black money from the rich people and ensure that it reaches to the middle class people of the society.

Shriya is said to have come up with her glamorous best in this one and her stills have caused quite a commotion. The film is also releasing simultaneously in Tamil and it is titled `Kanthasamy'.

The film will also have an international release as it has been dubbed into Spanish and Italian languages as well. This movie has got a strong message to the audience and it exposes the extent of corruption in our country.
