Singer-turned-actress Mamta Mohandas got betrothed to Pregith, her long-time boy friend today at 12:00 p.m. in Cochin. Pregith is a businessman and is based out of Bahrain.
Their marriage has been on the cards for long now. Though Mamta did not ferret out the news, her imminent marriage with her was a foregone conclusion. It was only a question of how soon.
The actress began her career in Malyalam in the year 2005 and conssequently did a number of Telugu and Tamil films. She became a familiar face in Andhra Pradesh after Yamadonga. She did not have any hit after that.
She has a Tamil film slated for release next year.
