Ever since Mammootty-Ajai Vasudev movie was announced, audiences have been waiting with bated breath for its title. Earlier there were rumours that the upcoming mass thriller has been titled as Eddy. Even fan made posters of the movie, with the title Eddy were already doing the rounds on Social media. But now, the latest that we hear is the film will be called 'Masterpiece'. An official confirmation with regards to the movie's title is awaited though!

Mammootty will be playing the role of a strict college lecturer named Edward Livingstone in the movie which is touted to be an out-and-out mass thriller. The movie also features Poonam Bajwa and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the role teachers while Unni Mukundan and Varalaxmi will appear in the cop avatars.

The campus thriller, scripted by Pulimurugan writer Udayakrishna, also has Mukesh, Mahima Nambiar, Salim Kumar, Maqbool Salmaan, Kailash, Kalabhavan Shah John and many others in the key roles. Produced by CH Muhammed for the banner Royal Cinemas, the shooting of the movie is progressing at a brisk pace in Kollam.
