Director Seenu Ramasamy has completed 'Dharmadurai' with Vijay Sethupathi which is expected to release anytime soon. Before that he has completed 'Idam Porul Yaeval with Vijay Sethupathi and Vishnu Vishal in lead roles and that film which was ready for release in 2014 itself has not hit the screens due to financial issues.

Now we learn that the director will team up with a Pan Indian star for his next. According to information coming from a reliable source, Seenu Ramasamy's next film will be with Malayalam Superstar Mammootty and the talks for the same have already started.

Mammootty who has acted in many Super hit Tamil films is currently acting in 'Peranbu' directed by Ram. It will be great if he signs up another Tamil film with a prominent new generation director like Seenu Ramasamy.

The Mega Star is also busy as ever in Malayalam films. The much anticipated Malayalam film 'Kasaba' directed by Nithin Renji Panciker in which Mammootty has played the role of a police officer, will be hitting the screens on July 7 for Ramzan. This film also stars 'Tharai Thappattai' actress Varalakshmi in an important role.
