A K Sajan's 'Puthiya Niyamam' is scheduled to have a Christmas release. The movie will release on the 24th of December. The movie stars Mammootty and Nayanthara in the lead roles. Theirs is a great on -screen chemistry and their combo has become a popular one.

The movie revolves around the life of Louis Pothen played by Mammootty. He marries Vasuki, played by Nayanthara. Theirs is an inter caste marriage and the problems relating to this is portrayed in the movie.
