Mammootty is actively trying to do his best to ensure drinking water to beat the heat. The actor's drought-relief activities has drawn wide support in a time when water has become very scarce in many areas. Among the actors who joined hands with him in the initiative is Kunchako Boban and Salim Kumar.

As part of the initiative put forth by Mammootty, the team will install 60 water kiskos at various parts of the city. The kiskos will be publicly monitored to be routinely used for public consumption. Mammootty said that this plan was part of the long term plan which aims at ensuring self-sufficiency in the use of water.
