Grand sets to shoot song sequences, is the latest trend in Kollywood. Songs in ‘Anniyan’, and ‘Sivaji’ had songs shot in grand sets erected at a huge cost.

Silambarasan's 'Silambattam' has a song sequence which was recently canned in a huge mammoth set put up at a cost of Rs 70 lakh. The song featuring Silambarasan and a Mumbai girl was picturized for over 10 days in Chennai.

'Set to tunes by Dheena, it is a racy number sure to rock audiences', says director Saravanan.

Produced by Lakshmi Movie Makers, ‘Silambattam’ is being made in a grand budget. Silambarasan plays a Hindu priest, who takes to arms for revenge.
