Mamta Mohandas on Wednesday got married to her longtime friend and Bahrain-based businessman Prajith Padmanabhan, at a function attended by friends, relatives and film personalities at Kozhikode in Kerala.
The couple got engaged at Muvattupuzha in Ernakulam district in November. The bridegroom arrived at the venue in a chariot to the accompaniment of percussion instruments. He was accorded a warm welcome by family members of the bride.
The 26-year-old actress made her debut with 'Mayookham', a Malayalam movie directed by veteran filmmaker Hariharan in 2005. She then became popular in the neighboring film industries Kollywood and Tollywood by acting alongside top stars.
In Tamil, she is popular for her roles in 'Guru En Aalu' and 'Sivapathikaram'. Mamta is the leading lady of Arun Vijay's upcoming film 'Thadaiyara Thaakka', whose shooting was completed recently. We at IndiaGlitz wish Mamta and Prajith a happy married life
