Mani Ratnam finishes in quick time

After a brief slump in his career Mani Ratnam came back with a bang with his modern day romance, OK Kanmani` which enjoyed a good run at the box office and also won critical acclaim. The trendsetting director, began his Kaatru Veliyidai` in June and has wrapped up the shoot within six months yesterday.

Kaatru Veliyidai` has Karthi playing an air force pilot and Aditi Rao Hydari is his love interest with R. J. Balaji and Shradda Srinath in the cast. A.R. Rahman and Vairamuthu combo once again join hands with Mani and Sri Thenandaal Films who are distributing have announced that the film will hit the screens in March 2017.
