It was only yesterday that IndiaGlitz reported about Gautham Karthik, Kadal's lead hero, brushing away rumors on being part of 'Agni Natchathiram' remake. It is now said that Mani Ratnam who is known for his love for Kerala's scenic locales, shot in Vembanad Kayal, Alapuzha, last week.

Post the shoot here they shot some more scenes in Manapad and it's said that both these sets of shots will be mixed and used for a scene.

In fact, a local television media managed to take some footage of their shooting in here but still missed Gautham and Thulasi's faces in the shots!

The film features Gautham Karthik, Thulasi Nair, Arjun, Aravind Samy and Lakshmi Manchu in lead roles, music is by AR Rahman.
