The jury for selecting this year`s Oscar entries from India is headed popular actor, director Amol Palekar who has watched more than 45 films and news is trickling in that two highly acclaimed Tamil films have been already selected.

The Dhanush-Vetrimaaran produced little gem Kaaka Muttai` directed by Manikandan is one of the official entries to the Oscars followed by S.S. Rajamouli`s record breaking Baahubali`. Aamir Khan`s PK`, Priyanka Chopra`s Mary Kom`, Neeraj Ghaywan directed Masaan`, Vishal Bharadwaj directed Haider` and Prashanth Nair`s Umrika`. The final list will be officially announced on the 25th of September.
