Real reason behind the delay of Maniratnam-Karthi -Dulquer movie

As we reported earlier ace director Maniratnam after his blockbuster OK Kanmani` is ready to start his next with Karthi, Dulquer Salman, Shruti Haasan, Nithya Menen and Keerthi Suresh as the lead players. The story is said to be a revenge drama pitting the heroes against one another and shooting was expected to start pretty soon.

Now it looks like there is going to be a further delay as the project has become bigger with Mani suddenly opting to make this a Tamil-Telugu-Hindi trilingual. While the same cast will be retained for the Tamil and Telugu versions, the team is now in the process of selecting the cast for the Hindi and once that is down all three versions will be shot simultaneously.
