Maniratnam vacations in Kodaikanal

Maniratnam recently released his "Kadal" with Gautham Karthik and Thulasi Nair. Unfortunately for the team, the film did not do as well as it was hyped up. The distributors have been demanding their money back for the loss and Maniratnam just could not take it anymore.

Sources say that this director is heading away to Kodaikanal for peace of mind and silence. The distributors keep turning up at the house even after Maniratnam clarified that the minimum rights of "Kadal" was bought by another studio an year ago. We hope he finds tranquility where he is headed.
