Manju Warrier's Tamil debut with the genre experimenting hit director

Malayalam cinema's comeback queen Manju Warrier is one of the most respected actresses of substance in south India. Though born in Nagercoil and proficient in Tamil she has not yet acted in a Kollywood film.

Manju has signed on for her first Tamil film to be directed by Arivazhagan of 'Eeram' and 'Kuttram 23' fame. The erstwhile director of Shankar has so far tried his hands at different genres in each film including horror, sports and crime and this time he is said to have gone for a woman centric subject. All the technicians of Arivazhagan's 'Kuttram 23' are on board the new project which will begin shooting in November.
