Kaniha who acted with Manju Warrier in the movie How Old Are You` revealed that she was advised by many not to act with the actress. Kaniha had acted as Manju`s friend named Susan in the movie. The actress said that she was told that the focus would all be on Manju and not to take up the role. But Kaniha said that she found it an honor to be part of the Manju Warrier movie, considering she is a big fan of the actress. The role of a corporate employee was something that she had never done before.
Kaniha also said that she found better opportunities in Malayalam than in Tamil, saying that her married status puts off Tamil projects from coming her way. She derided this trend. The actress is currently busy with her next movie starring Jayaram. This is Kaniha`s third movie with the actor.
