Grapevine is abuzz that Aadhi and Taapsee Pannu will be sharing screen space for a bilingual that's titled 'Maranthein Manippen' in Tamil. The film is being made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu and is based on true events, floods in 1986 and a love story intertwined with it.

It is directed by debutant Kumar Nagendra and is produced by Lakshmi Manchu who will also be seen in a pivotal role in the film. It may be mentioned she will also be seen in 'Kadal' and 'Department', a Bollywood venture as well this year.

Aadhi who proved the actor in him to audiences through 'Mirugam' and 'Eeram', currently has a pivotal role to play in Superstar's magnum opus 'Kochadaiyaan' apart from 'Aravaan' and a few other promising projects.
