Here is a rare remake of a masterpiece. K Balachandar's Maro Charithra has been remade by a first-time director and is produced by Dil Raju. Varun Sandesh dons Kamal, while Anitha does Saritha.
Touted as a dare-devil project, given the difficulty in adopting a masterpiece like MC, the film is coming before the audience soon. The reason why the movie is to be watched out for is not just because it comes from Sri Venkateswara Creations, which has a stature in Telugu film, but also because the story is irresistibly interesting.
The more interesting part will, of course, be the climax, which is a tragedy. Keep guessing if it will be any different here.
Also, as the broad story is well-known, even to those born much after the original's release in 1978, the film faces a greater challenge to surprise the audience with unique treatment.
