Maryada Ramanna to be remade in Tamil

Maryada Ramanna is all set to be remade in Tamil. Santhanam, the ace comedian seen recently in OKOK, is likely to reprise Sunil’s role.

Director Kannan of 'Jayamkondan' and 'Vandhan Vendraan' fame will wield the megaphone and Santhanam is expected to do the lead role.

Kannan is known for remaking Bollywood hits, just like our own Jayanth C Parenje. He had earlier remade 'Jab We Met' as 'Kanden Kadhalai' and he is currently busy remaking 'Delhi Belly' as 'Settai'.

"PVP Cinema has acquired the remake rights of Maryada Ramanna and the shoot of the Tamil version is expected to get a kick start by January next year," add sources.
