Upendra has always bit of a bizarre character. He makes strange films with strange titles. But the thing is that they succeed.

His Omkara, supposedly a wild, gory love story, was certainly one. Said to be based on a true life incident, the film was such a hit in Kannada that the production house (RS Creations) is dubbing the film Telugu. Sivamani has directed the movie.

The film is titled Om and will be released this June. So yet another film in the line-up for June.
