In the upcoming Theri` directed by Atlee Vijay and Samantha play husband and wife and yester year heroine Meena`s four year old daughter Nainikka plays an important role as their child.

It is reported that Meena would ask the team about what scenes are going to be shot with Nainikka the next day and give the little girl training on how to give a perfect performance rewarding her with chocolates for her efforts. It may be recalled that Meena herself was a popular child artiste who has acted with Sivaji Ganesan in Nenjangal` and Engeyo Ketta Kural and Anbulla Rajinikanth` with Rajinikanth.
