Meera Chopra, who paired up with Pawan Kalyan in 'Bangaram', had played in some other films like 'Vaana' and 'Maaro' opposite Nithin (yet to be released).
It is learnt that the Delhi police filed an FIR against her under section 120B of IPC in connection with the suspicious death of a housewife.
As per the available information, Ruchi Bhattan was found dead. While Ruchi's in-laws claimed that she had committed suicide by hanging from fan, her parents and sister allege that Ruchi's husband Sumit killed her and was trying to claim that she had committed suicide.
RuchiÂs sister Shefali claims that Sumit had an illicit affair with Meera Chopra and Ruchi had also mentioned it in her diary.
The police are investigating into the case.
