Nana Patekar is definitely back with a bang post 'Bhoot', 'Ab Tak Chappan' and 'Bluffmaster'. Even John Abraham is having a great elevation in his stocks post 'Kaal', 'Garam Masala' and most recently 'Zinda'. And when the two meet, they make Milan Luthria an extremely happy man.

We are talking about 'Taxi No. 9211' that is slated for a late February release and is catching on heat. As per the director, there were innumerous production hassles while shooting the film but due to his accomplished actors and crew members, it made it possible for them to still meet the 45 day deadline.

Milan says, "Crowd situations, government permissions, and the logistics of shooting taxi and car chases across the length and the breath of Bombay were tackled by the accomplished production team handpicked by Ramesh Sippy, as was the daunting 26/7 rains, that threw the schedule completely out of gear. It is to the credit of busy actors like Nana and John that they made time from their other commitments to adjust the loss in dates, and still bring in the film on schedule by working extra long hours."

He continues in the same breath, "The movie was shot in a single 45 day schedule from June 3, 2005, in and around the streets of Bombay, which was the most difficult but exhilarating shoots of my life! The challenges of shooting hand-held footage to create a real and pulsating feel, while avoiding studio recreations of Bombay, and filming a script that was challenging because it had two distinct layers of Bombay, and had sequences that were extremely whippy and dynamic, were many. And hats off to the core creative team comprising L.A. based cinematographer Kartik Vijay (who also makes his Hindi film debut here) and action director Abbas Ali Moghul for having battled many odds to create an extremely satisfying end product.

With a team like this, expectations are already sky high to have a dekko at the final product.
