'Minugurulu' Grabs Best Indian Film CIICFF

Minugurulu has turned out to be a surprise selection in the International Children Film Festival of India organized festival in Hyderabad in November this year has another feather in its cap. The film has bagged the 'Best Indian Film' award at the 9th Children's India International Children's Film Festival at Bangalore.

Directed and Produced by Ayodhyakumar Krishnamsetty, the movie has hit the screens today and has a tremendous reviews from critics. The story of a group of blind kids struggling to come to terms with their life in a state run orphanage and their attempt to bring their woes to the authorities in the form of a film has really touched the hearts of one and all who watched the film at the festivals. The film and the makers were appreciated for the sensitive storyline and the inspiring treatment.

Ashish Vidyarthi, Rajpal Yadav, Suhasini Mani Ratnam in a special role with several originally blind kids, led by Deepak Saroj, the teenager who is the driving force behind the war against the corrupted and conceited warden of their hostel… All the actors performed with conviction and gave their hundred percent. Music by Dr. Josyabhatla is an asset for the film.
