After Amitabh Bachchan [Coolie] and Govinda [Coolie No. 1], its the turn of another superstar Mithun Chakravorty to portray the role of a coolie. The film is titled, obviously 'Coolie' with the only difference being that the film has been made in Bengali.

The film was in news way back in 2004 but got delayed for some reasons. Finally the film is ready to release with Andhra beauty Meghna Naidu [Hawas, Rain] opposite the superstar. Directed by Swapan Saha, the film is special for Meghna as she gets to work with her 'Classic - Dance Of Love' co-star again. As per Meghna, Mithun has been a fantastic person to work with and she also learnt a bit of Bangla for the film.
