While some experts expect the ties to deepen and for keys issues like visa terms to be resolved, some feel that the Indian PM might have to answer some difficult questions like the crackdown on NGOs.

US Congressmen Ed Royce told The Indian Express that the Modi`s government`s actions towards, especially the forced shutting of Compassion International that provided tutoring, nutrition and medical services to a considerable number of Indian children, will not reflect well on India.
