It is well aware that ‘Bejawada Rowdylu’ is being directed by maverick director Ram Gopal Varma, with rowdyism in Vijayawada as its backdrop.

The latest information from Film Nagar says, Mohanbabu had given his nod to play an important role in this movie. The regular shooting of the film is likely to begin by the end of this month. Though RGV asked Mohanbabu to play a role in ‘Rakta Charitra’, the latter refused to act. However, he got a green signal from the Collection King to play the key role in ‘Bejawada Rowdylu’.

Let us mention that RGV had roped in Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna, daughter of Mohanbabu, for his latest and experimental film ‘Dongalamutaa’ which was completed in just five days.
