A Tamil film with the 'Drishyam' Hero and 'Papanasam' Heroine

Mollywood Superstar Mohanlal remains popular in other South Indian language films and Bollywood too. He is presently acting in two Telugu films 'Janata Garage' and Manamantha'. He plays an important supporting role as the uncle of Junior NTR in the former while he plays the lead role opposite Gauthami in the latter.

'Manamantha' has created instant attraction due to the pairing up of Lalettan and Gauthami after a gap of 18 years. Lal-Gauthami onscreen pair is considered as the most lucky. The duo have starred together in many successful Malayalam films in the 1990s, including 'His Highness Abdullah'.

'Manamantha' has been written and directed by Chandrasekar Elatti. Musical score is by Mahesh Shankar while Rahul Sreevathsav is handling the cinematography. The shooting of the film has been progressing at a rapid pace.

Owing to the popularity of the lead pair among Tamil audience, 'Manamantha' will be released in Tamil too. The Tamil version has been titled as 'Namadhu'. Noted lyricist Madhan Karky will be penning the dialogues for the Tamil version and also the lyrics for all the song. The film's star cast includes veteran Tamil actors Nasser and Oorvasi and this will definitely enhance the prospects of the Tamil version.
