Though he is now known to be the biggest name to safeguard good cinema in Mollywood, Renjith is humble enough to realise and point out the actual realities.

While more and more Tamil films are getting neat audiences in Kerala, Renjith acknowledges that Mollywood is currently learning much from Tamil cinema and its new creative breed of young directors.

He was talking at the audio launch of Sasikumar's new movie 'Easan'. Anurag Kashyap, K Balachander, Rama Narayanan, Bala and Ameer and Kannada director Yograj Bhat were the other big names who attended the function.

Anurag Kashyap who spoke on the occasion sited Sasikumar's 'Subramaniapuram' as an inspiration for his next Hindi film. He also admitted his impression about young directors such as Sasikumar, Bala and Ameer.

Meanwhile, Renjiths' latest in theatres 'Pranchiyettan and the Saint' still maintain healthy collections in its 75 days. The director is now scripting his new production for director G S Vijayan, which will be produced by his Capitol movies. Mammootty, once again will come up as the protagonist of this yet to be named flick.
