Breaking into the Blockbuster league is Lucia the Kannada movie which won critical acclaim for its intensive film making. Gaining rave reviews, the movie is currently being remade in Hindi as well as the rights are sold out. The Tamil remake is also due with Thirukumaran entertainment bagging the remake rights and they have currently roped in Siddharth to be the lead cast.

The Director of the movie is Pawan Kumar who will be doing the remake in Bollywood as well, when asked about its Tamil remake he is said to have quoted that Dhanush would be an ideal cast with Trisha doing the heroine bit.

Made on a shoestring budget of 75lakhs it is said to have garnered about 3 crores in KA, it has won wide acclaim from Bollywood biggies Anurag Khashyap as well.
